Local Boy Scout Reads with Elders

Yesterday, local boy scout, Don Elmore, and his mother Felicia volunteered to come to Morgantown Care & Rehab and read with our elders. Wednesday mornings are usually spent reading the newspaper so Don read aloud as the elders followed along. After reading the paper, Don and his mom made some individual visits where they read some winter-themed stories together, played some games, and used some special homemade sensory tools. Don is working on the reading merit badge and wanted to come and meet the requirements for that badge by reading with groups and individuals at our home. We enjoyed his visit very much and hope he returns with more stories, games, and fun!
