Stand For Children’s Day

One of the summer perks of being a stakeholder at Morgantown Care and Rehab Center is the availability of the summer camp program for stakeholder’s children. The camp runs during the summer months and serves two purposes. For stakeholders working on summer days the program allows their children to attend camp in our home while their parents work at no cost. For stakeholders it is a perk, but for our elders it is a time they get to visit and work with children in activities such as storytelling, crafts, games, etc. Today the campers joined many other children as they attended Stand For Children’s Day at The Bowling Green Ballpark. The free event provided education to children about healthcare, healthy living, games, and prizes. To beat the heat the campers headed over to Circus Square Park for lunch and to cool off in the fountain before heading back to our home.
