The snow is gone and the sun is shining bright at Morgantown Care and Rehab Center! With the rise in temperatures the stakeholders, elders, and families at Morgantown Care and Rehab Center are eager to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. While the air feels great to our spirits, studies show that this has an influence on one’s health. According to a study from the University of Rochester in 2010, time spent outside makes one feel “more alive.” The fresh air and sun increases energy and a person’s resiliency to physical illness (Rochester, 2010). The stakeholders, elders, families, and guests at Morgantown Care and Rehab Center are not holding back, but instead taking the opportunity of the nice weather to get outside and be active. This week stakeholders, elders, families, and guests joined each other for fresh fruit and fellowship on the porch, while taking in the fresh air.
