Tuesday, May 13th, was our second day celebrating National Nursing Home Week here at Morgantown Care and Rehab. Today’s theme was “60’s Day” and some of our stakeholders wore tie dye and other 60’s apparel to celebrate!
With our elders we enjoyed making beaded necklaces and sporting washable tattoos! Later we also made some tie dye clothing and ate some tie dye cupcakes that were made by our HR Director, Nikki Hagan. But some of the biggest fun we had this day came from our dunking booth. Before hand a voting jar was setup to see who would get dunked; Administrator – Logan Midkiff, DON – Mandy Clubbs, or Maintenance Director – Brad McKinney. I’m not sure who won (or lost) because all of them volunteered to get dunked!
